Tezspire

Tezspire is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Severe Asthma. Tezspire may be used alone or with other medications.

Tezepelumab-ekko, a thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) blocker, is a human monoclonal antibody immunoglobulin G2λ (IgG2λ) produced in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells by recombinant DNA technology. Tezepelumab-ekko has a molecular weight of approximately 147 kDa.

Tezspire Side Effects

The most common side effects include:

  • sore throat,
  • back pain,
  • joint stiffness or pain, and 
  • injection site reactions (redness, swelling, pain, and hard lump)
